A common, but false concept in our world today is that education should have nothing to do with a way of life—we don’t want to tell people how to live. Our schools want to teach people how to make a living, but not how to live. Every evil in the world today can be laid at the doorstep of false education. Education has failed—so often our schools are mere hotbeds for sin, strife, revolt, and discontent. What kind of system will replace it and what will be the astonishing results? What is true education?
God’s way of life is the result of the right education. It is based upon the bedrock of truth—a truth that has been rejected by the world (Jer. 16:19-21). Our 6,000 years of human self-rule under the guise of stan the devil is almost over—and our world is getting worse. We are fast approaching a climax that will shock people into a realization that something is radically wrong with our way of life. People are going to want to know a better way! People have inherited nothing, but a bunch of lies—from birth—profitless lies that have been funneled into their unquestioning minds. People grow up, and as adults, they continue living the fallacies they learned as little children. For so many, life is built on an empty premise. All of that is about to change!
“Many people shall come and say,“ Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem” (Isa. 2:3). Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords. He will also be the supreme teacher—uniting the functions of church and state—teaching people an entirely new way of life. Education without the spiritual is incomplete. It’s not enough learning just how to make a living, but how to live! In God’s pattern for world rule—religion and government are not separate! The apostles preached the gospel to the nations almost 2,000 years ago as The True Church of God is witnessing today, but think of how much more all the nations of the whole earth will hear God’s truth proclaimed in the millennium and beyond. Who will help Christ to rule and teach in the world tomorrow? The resurrected saints will serve as kings and priests. The primary function of a priest is to teach (Rev. 5:10). That is why Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords. If we learn the truth of how to live today!
What will be the results? The Apostle John wrote, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32). The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord (Isa. 11:9). Nations will learn war no more—there will be peace, prosperity, and happiness and the whole basis of it will be the right education. This doesn’t just magically happen. God will appoint His resurrected saints as the educators. They will teach the people all His laws, statutes, and judgments, which are the way to peace, prosperity, and happiness.
